My name is Louis, and I am a 5-STAR professional teacher, college math professor, and tutor with over 20 years of experience helping students turn struggles into confidence and academic success. I hold a master’s degree in Math Education from a leading Massachusetts university and have taught and tutored students from elementary school through college.

I grew up in Cambridge near Harvard University, where participating in academic programs helped develop my passion for education. Today, I have the privilege of supporting students from across the country, including students attending Ivy League and other highly respected schools.

My Christian faith is at the heart of how I serve others. It has taught me to lead with patience, integrity, compassion, encouragement, and excellence. I believe every student has God-given potential, and one of my greatest joys is helping students recognize that potential, develop confidence, and achieve results they may not have thought possible.

I specialize in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, PSAT, SAT, ACT, GED, and college-level mathematics. Many of my students have gone from struggling and discouraged to succeeding—sometimes after only a few sessions.

My approach is highly personalized. I take time to discover how each student learns best and then adapt my teaching accordingly. I connect difficult mathematical concepts to ideas students understand and interests they enjoy, making learning clearer, engaging, and even fun.

Beyond teaching mathematics, I strive to mentor, motivate, and build confidence. My goal is not simply to help students complete an assignment or pass a test, but to equip them with skills, discipline, and confidence that extend beyond the classroom.
