I am a patient but effective tutor who determines the foundational dysfunctions of the student and rebuilds the foundation to proceed to understanding. As an experienced science professional with gifted teaching experience in 6th grade- Postgraduate teaching venues, I am well able to meet your needs including experience as a successful tutor.
An undergraduate degree in political science and practical experience in politics was followed by a MS in Chemistry, and teacher certification in two states in physical sciences. Research experience covers the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, nutritional chemistry and analysis with a major food industry corporation, personal care chemistry, and materials science and engineering (including projects funded by National Aeronautics and Space Administration, National Institutes of Health, and National Science Foundation). All practical experience is brought into the tutoring/teaching experience at appropriate points to bolster student awareness and understanding of the relevant topics being studied.

Clemson University School of Material Science and Engineering Coursework toward a PhD includes Kinetics I & II, Thermodynamics, Polymer Science courses, and work on a NASA funded project on lunar rovers. Professional work in a Manufacturing plant doing Batch analysis and correction adds practical experience. This combined with a Chemistry Masters at University of Kentucky completes my qualifications in this area.
Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

I have completed eighteen graduate credit hours at Clemson University toward a Doctorate in Materials Science and engineering which encompasses Mechanical behavior of materials. I worked while there on a robotic lunar rover Mechanical Engineering Directed project for NASA. And completed several data collection trips to NASAs Glenn Research Center in Cleveland to study traction of tread materials. The coursework include: Mechanical behavior of materials, Fracture and Fatigue, Physical behavior of Polymers, Chemical structure of polymers, Physical methods of testing materials. Kinetics I and Kinetics II, and Thermodynamics of materials, Physical behavior and properties of materials. Optical materials. Maintained a 3.2 in core courses.
Nutrition

Nutrition

I have a master's in Chemistry. I've completed research in Biochemistry both at the University of Kentucky and also at Lynchburg College in Virginia. I have 5 years of Industrial nutritional research and nutritional analysis experience at Pet Inc. in St. Louis, MO, an industry leader in Food production. My experience also includes food and drug research production and analysis with FDA interaction at TriTech Laboratories in Lynchburg, Va.
