¡Hola! I’m Sarah — a lifelong Spanish teacher who loves helping students discover how fun and rewarding learning Spanish can be! I’ve been teaching and tutoring Spanish for over 30 years, and I work with all levels and ages — from 10 to 100.
I’m passionate about the Spanish language and culture, and I love seeing my students gain confidence and enjoy what they’re learning.
I help all levels of Spanish Learning; from beginners to advanced speakers. I help students in middle school, high school, and college improve their grades and understanding. I also specialize in AP Spanish Preparation.
I have helped numerous professionals to be able to communicate with their clients and patients.I adapt to your particular learning style and goals. I explain even the toughest topics in a simple way. I give you access to everything you need to help you both in our classes and in between classes providing lots of access to authentic materials and native voices.
You’ll have access to amazing programs like Voces Digital, Yabla, Flangoo, Blooket, and Quizlet — full of interactive content and native speakers. I also include free PDFs and all materials in your hourly rate.
I have Bachelor’s Degrees in Spanish Language and World Languages Education, and I spent a year studying in Segovia, Spain. I’ve also lived in Costa Rica (8 years) and Mexico (3 years), and I’ve traveled through more than a dozen Spanish-speaking countries.
I love sharing real cultural experiences in my lessons — from daily expressions to traditions, music, and food! Whether you’re learning Spanish for school, travel, or just for fun, I’ll help you feel confident and enjoy the process.
