Hi, I’m David! I’ve spent 20+ years in game development, teaching and working in the industry. At Full Sail University, I helped thousands of students build their game projects and land jobs—some even went on to work on Red Dead Redemption and Halo: Reach.

I hold two Associate degrees and a Bachelor’s in programming-related fields, with a strong focus on C++. Along the way, I earned an Associate of Computer Science (where I first mastered C/C++), an Associate of Arts in Game Design and Development, and a Bachelor of Science in Game Development that was entirely focused on C++ game programming. Beyond academics, I also taught C++ at Full Sail University, helping students build real projects and strengthen their coding skills. With both professional and teaching experience, I can guide you from the fundamentals of C++ all the way to advanced, game-ready development.

Great C++ Knowledge

David is teaching me the basics of C++ before learning game development. I have been learning about vectors, loops, classes, etc.. He has taught me some Unreal Engine as well. I recommend him to anyone. He explains the concepts easily for me to understand and goes above and beyond to make sure I really understand. I have been doing well in classes as a result!
