Great teacher! You cannot expect more!
I reached out to Carlos in late February when I realized that my daughter’s school teacher literally does not teach at all, so we need someone who can concentrate the content of AP world history course and complete it in 2 months. Carlos agreed to help. We scheduled classes with him on a weekly basis, and then 2 classes each week when the exam date was approaching. After the first class, my daughter said “he is great. I like him.” Carlos not only gave the instruction, but assigned her homework and then graded it with explanations in class. He certainly helped her with the FRQs. With less than 20 classes, my daughter felt so much better and more confident to take the exam. I have to say: Carlos met all the expectations I have for a teacher. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated teacher who is truly passionate about his work.

Excellent Tutor
Carlos is patient, organized and communicates very well with students. My daughter ended up in a very chaotic AP World History class this year, cycling through 4 different teachers, each with their own style and set of materials. The class was significantly behind and the students were just confused. Carlos has been able to help her organize and understand the material and concepts. He knows the content very well and has worked with her on the multiple choice and essay portions of the exam. He has been able to explain the material, help her learn how to structure the essay responses and given her valuable strategies to feel more confident going into the AP exam. Carlos is an excellent teacher-prepared, patient and knowledgeable. Definitely five stars!

Carlos has been a great help in my preparation for the AP World History exam. We began only a few months out from the exam, yet in that time, he covered all the necessary material that I needed to succeed. During the tutoring sessions, Carlos felt like a friend as we worked together through different topics, giving me specific tips and tricks. He was very flexible with his schedule and make adjustments when needed, especially in the final few weeks. I could tell Carlos knew a lot about not just the content, but the inner workings of the exam, and I have a lot to thank him for!

Before I took classes with Mr. Carlos for AP World History tutoring, I was very scared for the exam: I barely knew the content very well, and my essays were not even in good shape at all. I started taking classes with Mr. Carlos from January, and he got me very well prepared for the exam! He taught me a year's worth of content in just a couple months, and he was able to help me write perfect essays that were very clear and concise. In addition, his teaching style was very interactive and always entertaining, so I always looked forward to his classes. I couldn't have been more prepared without Mr. Carlos! Thank you so much for helping me prepare for my AP World History exam! :D I will miss working with him and attending his classes. I would highly recommend him for AP World History prep.

We started using Carlos about a month before our child's AP World History exam, as she (frankly) hadn't focused enough in class. Carlos was incredibly accommodating, efficient, supportive and patient, and she wound up leaving the exam feeling much more confident than she had expected to.
