It has been a pleasure having the opportunity to tutor and teach in the classroom. I approach each students needs with patience and flexibility as each student is unique. What I enjoy about tutoring is the ability to have a one on one interaction where my entire focus is dedicated to the students accomplishments. I adapt my teaching style and my strategies to optimize their success, build confidence and boost their self esteem. I am able to focus in on the student's concept weaknesses and then break down the difficulty into easily understandable segments.not I have held a California teaching Certificate and have a Florida teaching Certificate to teach both Chemistry and Biology. My academic background includes a BA in Biology, Doctorate program in Clinical Pharmacy, Doctorate in neuromuscular pathology and a BSPA(MS) in medicine graduating Magna Cum Laude and Summa Cum Laude. I have tutored privately for 50 years both in person and online. I have been an instructor and Assistant Professor at the college level in pathophysiology, chemistry and biology, guest lecturer at two medical schools and clinical instructor for medical students. I have also taught as a high school instructor in honors chemistry, IB chemistry, advanced placement biology and honors biology. On Wyzant's platform I presently teach high school general chemistry, honors chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology for high school and college students in pre-health care and selectively AP or IB chemistry, I as well teach college introductory or basic chemistry.

My education and experience is as follows. I hold a Professional Doctorate in Neuromuscular Pathology and injury practicing 15 years. I attended the Doctorate program in clinical Pharmacy, I hold a BSPA degree practicing family medicine for 21 years that includes hospital practice and office practice. My Undergraduate degree is in Biology with an emphasis on cell biology and invertebrate biology. I have taught college and high school Anatomy and Physiology, Biology and Chemistry as an instructor and have taught the Clinical Sciences as an Assistant Professor. I was a guest lecture at two medical colleges, lecturing on diseases of the esophagus and hematology. In retirement from medicine I teach classroom Biology and chemistry and hold a Teaching Certificate in my state to teach Anatomy, Physiology, Biology and chemistry in the community colleges and high school. I was a research assistant in neuroendocrinology and was a co-author of original research on radiographic lateral flexion studies of the cervical spine.

I hold a teacher certification in my state of residence to teach chemistry in the schools and have classroom experience teaching both high school chemistry and college chemistry. I have taught the clinical medical sciences at three colleges as an Assistant Professor and was a guest lecturer at two schools of Medicine. I further was a researcher in the biochemical aspects of neuroendocrinology at the Veterans Administration Hospital. I have post graduate work in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, biochemistry, pharmacology, chemical therapeutics, toxicology, medical nuclear chemistry, cell biochemistry nutritional chemistry and pharmacokinetics in a doctoral program in clinical Pharmacy and two professional Science/Health care degrees along with a degree in Biology. I have practiced primary health care for 37 years and practiced internal medicine as a PA for 21 years. I am certified in my state to teach both Chemistry and Biology. At this time I tutor only high school chemistry and college introductory chemistry as well as. high school environmental science.

I was an Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine for 3 years teaching differential diagnosis and Pathophysiology. I was a research associate in neuroendocrinology and had an original poster board accepted by a professional Journal while a Clinical Assistant Professor on radiological disparity on lateral bending studies of the cervical spine. I am as well a certified educator in my state of residence, certified to teach the Biological sciences, Pathophysiology and Chemistry in High School and Community Colleges, and in my retirement from medicine teach both classroom biology, anatomy, physiology and chemistry.
