Hello, I'm William! I graduated with honors from Daytona Beach State College (formerly S.E. Center for Photographic Studies) in 1997. While there I earned an Associate of Science degree majoring in Photographic Technology. Even before I graduated I knew I wanted to focus on advertising and commercial photography. My first job as a photographer was with a product photography studio. I quickly acquired a huge knowledge base in order to tackle every project that came into the studio. One week could be shooting models for a department store clothing lines, the next week it could be working with food stylists and shooting food and drink for restaurants and grocery stores.
I had a rare opportunity that led me on a path of teaching and tutoring and that was with the Walt Disney World company. I became a teacher (AKA program facilitator) at The Disney Institute in Orlando, FL. My program consisted of half day long classes (Portrait, Journalism, Wildlife, Travel & Portfolio Review) of up to fifteen students from ages 15 and up. These classes also covered everything from the basics of how a camera works to lighting and composition. I found myself to be a naturally skilled communicator and thoroughly enjoyed sharing my passion and knowledge to those that also had a passion for the art of photography.

I now use Sony and Nikon mirrorless cameras instead of a DSLR camera. These cameras are capable of also shooting video so now video production and editing are on my resume.
For the last twenty three years I have been focused on the craft of photography. During this time I have discovered that understanding the basics is a necessity in order to grow your skills. I'm here to guide
