Guitar teacher: Beginner to Intermediate. "Have fun-learn a lot"

I learned how to play guitar at age 10. I can remember the early challenges I overcame and I enjoy helping early learners tackle these challenges is good form. "Have fun and learn a lot" is what you can expect. Also loads of encouragement!

I have experience teaching young students to adults. What I can help with is quick recognition of an issue along with an immediate correction. Also, no one needs harsh correction. Since I have made all these mistakes, I know its no big deal- we just fix it and move along. Its not just a phrase "have fun and learn a lot" it is how I want you to feel every time you pick up your guitar.

I have worked in studios for corporate promotional videos as well as playing live at weddings and other special occasions These situations require precision and a "getting it right the first time" approach.

1) Writing and performing professional recordings for a Florida based advertising firm.
2) Playing solo performances in New Orleans clubs.
3) Wrote and performed "Cajun Navy" theme song used for the Louisiana Cajun Navy promotional video.
4) Selected as Hospital manager of the quarter at Ochsner Hospital for work with music therapy for patients.
5) Selected as musician of the quarter for Musicians on Call, a national organization for musicians performing music for patients in the hospital.
