I am currently completing my fourth year of medical school at Florida State University College of Medicine in Orlando. I have a quite a bit of free time during the final year of medical school and am thrilled to have the opportunity to tutor. I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2011 where I was the MVP of the Varsity Tennis Team. Upon college graduation, I taught 9th grade Biology for two years through Teach For America. After deciding to pursue medical school, I gave up teaching to conduct biomedical research for two years at the University of Chicago. During this time, I also took the MCAT and chose to attend medical school at FSU so that I could return back home to Florida while pursuing my dream of becoming a doctor.

I love teaching and am thrilled to have time this year to incorporate tutoring into my schedule. As a former collegiate tennis player, I have a lot of experience teaching tennis to all ages. I am also thrilled to teach tennis, in addition to academics.

I am a former 9th grade Biology teacher through Teach For America. The emphasis of my biology course was preparing my students to succeed on the ACT and SAT. Therefore, I incorporated math daily into my lessons to prepare my students for the math section of the ACT and SAT.

I am currently a fourth year medical student and have successfully completed the MCAT (medical school admissions test) and part 1 and part 2 of the United States Medical Licensing Exam as part of my medical education. As a former 9th grade biology teacher, I taught 260 students over the span of 2 years, with a wide-range of learning needs, from exceptional education students to gifted students.

I was named the MVP of the Varsity Tennis Team at University of Chicago and Freshman Athlete of the Year. I have also taught tennis to all age groups through individual and group lessons throughout much of my adult life, outside of my work as a teacher and medical student.
