I was born to a military family which entailed a bit of moving in my young days. I was raised in the panhandle of Florida in a small town you've probably never heard about. I participated in many after school activities such as sports and community organisations. I attended UCF for four years where I earned my degree and afterwards joined the Florida Army National Guard to serve my state and my country.

I am a graduate of University of Central Florida, where I attained a B.S. in Psychology. I graduated from high school in the panhandle having taken multiple AP Courses and earning college credit in all but AP Chemistry. In addition to my degree from UCF I also earned an AA in French through the military in an intensive 42 credit hour, 9 month course at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center at the Presidio of Monterey California. I earned a 2/2/2 (out of a possible 3/3/3) in reading, listening and speaking respectively.

I attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) where I was in a condense 9 month French course where we studied French and nothing but for 7 hours a day, 5 days a week. I earned a slot on a cultural immersion to Bordeaux and also earned a spot on the Dean's list with a 3.4 GPA by the end of the course.

I am a very easy going and empathetic person. I understand the difficulties of learning a second language and also the difficulties of trying to grasp a subject that seem so evasive. I am also a hard worker and creative thinker, so it's not terribly difficult for me to look at things from a different angle.
