Stephen really goes above and beyond to help his students succeed! He provides a wide variety of worksheets with practice problems, and breaks down the tough questions into a simpler form. What really stands out to me is how knowledgeable he is, he doesn’t just explain things one way, but offers multiple methods so each student can find the approach that works best for them. He is incredibly patient and understanding, always willing to take the time out of his day to help during and after sessions without charge. Overall, he is very supportive, good with communicating, ensuring a comfortable environment, and amazing person who truly cares about his students’ success!

I truly don’t have enough good things to say about Stephen. I’ve had many tutors throughout my life, but no one has ever helped me the way he has. As a 'unique learner,' I often process information differently, and Stephen takes the genuine time to understand my specific thinking process. He doesn’t just 'teach' a subject or show you how to solve a problem; he translates the information so that YOU specifically will understand it. He is incredibly knowledgeable and goes out of his way to figure out your learning style so he can be the best teacher possible for you. For my TEAS test prep, he has put in so many extra hours outside of our sessions—analyzing my strengths, identifying what I need to work on, and building custom lesson plans and resources. I never thought I would say this about a teacher, but he actually makes learning fun. I used to dread tutoring, but now I look forward to it because of the environment he creates. It is so clear that he truly cares about you as both a student and a person; he doesn't just want you to pass, he wants you to excel. After graduating high school and finishing two years of college, I can say without a doubt that Stephen is the best teacher I’ve ever had. He was truly made for this. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

Stephen has been helping my daughter with studying for the ASVAB mostly math skills. He is always very patient with her. Over time I have seen her advance and become more confident with her work. Even in the areas where she has a harder time with understanding the work Stephen stays the same level of patients as always. He is always very respectful to the both of us. He always keeps me in the loop about her progress and whatever plans he has for her for future lessons. I am very happy with my choice to move forward with Stephen for our tutor and even after my daughter takes and passes the ASVAB. We will be sticking with Stephen. He is not just an amazing tutor but a great human being, He is always understanding and kind.

He is the best teacher ever!

Thanks to Stevens my math teacher, I’ve started loving math! He’s an excellent teacher — super clear, patient, and makes every class feel light and fun. He always makes sure you truly understand and learn before moving on, and that makes such a difference. I never thought I’d enjoy math this much, but his way of teaching changed that completely. He’s definitely the best!

Stephen is working with my son to improve his ASVAB score, particularly with math. Stephen is able to break the problem down to help my son understand how to solve the problem and help refresh his memory since it's been a long time since he's used math. I greatly appreciate all of Stephen's help. He's responsive and flexible with scheduling. Stephen is an excellent tutor and I highly recommend him! (4 sessions to date)

Our son's tutoring session went very well with Stephen. My son was pleased with all of the tips and personalized information given to help his specific needs to bring up his ACT scores. He has a positive attitude and such a great rapport with our high school senior who struggles with certain concepts in math (and other areas). He's only been to one session so far but Stephen has been so helpful and has multiple ways of explaining a mathematical equation/ concept, to find the ideal learning technique for our son. Tutoring is twice a week and we are excited to his progress. Our son's confidence has already started improving in this area and we are so glad we made this decision. We highly recommend Stephen!
