I love learning and helping students develop a life long love for learning. As a middle and high school science and math teacher for the past 14 years, I have helped hundreds of students overcome a dislike of math and science. I believe that if students can begin to gain confidence in their skills and see improvement, it can make a difference in their attitudes towards school. I love learning and helping students develop a life long love for learning. As a middle and high school science and math teacher for the past 14 years, I have helped hundreds of students overcome a dislike of math and science. I believe that if students can begin to gain confidence in their skills and see improvement, it can make a difference in their attitudes towards school. The best part of my job as a teacher was seeing kids who once struggled overcome their fear and anxiety and realize that they too can be successful.

In addition to teaching, I tutored many students during the evening and on weekends. I enjoy working with students and developing an understanding of what each individual needs to do to achieve success in their classes.

As a math teacher and tutor for the past 14 years, I have seen what it takes to be successful in math. The key to success in most classes in organization and practice, practice, practice. The first thing I do with any class I teach or student I tutor is develop a plan for organization. I always require my students to show all of their work and complete homework problems.

In addition to math, I also tutor chemistry. I have an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Georgia Tech and a Master's degree from Georgia State in biochemistry. As with math, chemistry requires organization and lots of practice.

I have been a high school math teacher for over 14 years. I have taught algebra through pre-calculus so I’m familiar with different levels of math. In addition, I have tutored SAT and ACT for 15 years, as well as teaching prep classes at the school Where I worked.

Wonderful teacher!

Leanne is a former precalc teacher and seems to be exactly what my son needed! He has only had one session, but her experience as a teacher was a great help in analyzing what he was doing wrong and what he was doing right, and giving him tips on how to do well on the upcoming test...on which he got an A! It did wonders to improve his confidence in Honors precalc. Best part is that she is willing to stay in touch with us and check in to see if we need her services each week! It gives me peace of mind knowing that we can call on her the next time he needs some support.
