In college I studied psychology and minored in English. I worked as a teaching assistant to freshmen English and psychology courses, holding weekly writing workshops and study groups. My graduate work was in mental health counseling, and I recently passed the mental health counseling licensure (NCMHC) exam. Currently, I work as an assessment specialist, training those who perform standardized cognitive and psychiatric tests for clinical trials.

I am very organized and detail-oriented. My tutoring experience includes helping with research and paper-writing, proofreading in all subjects, psychology/mental health counseling exam prep, and assisting with time management and organizational skills. I find that starting an assignment with a strategy or organized plan goes far in boosting confidence and overall achievement.
