Through my experiences as a tutor for 8+ years for Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Algebra I realize each person takes in information differently whether it is hands-on, verbal, or written. Through my experiences as a tutor for 8+ years for Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Algebra I realize each person takes in information differently whether it is hands-on, verbal, or written. My degree in Biomedical Sciences has set a strong foundation in science and math. I have the flexibility and knowledge to adapt to each student's way of learning. Building confidence is part of my foundational philosophy in teaching. It's important my students feel confident in their learning abilities; I believe this sets the framework for their confidence to approach anything challenging in life. I enjoy one on one tutoring being that I am capable of assessing the strengths and weaknesses of a student immediately. I use research-proven methods to teach my students how to learn in the most efficient way. As a continuous learner myself, I am always looking for ways to better my student's success. Knowing the subject is just a portion of taking exams, we will also cover how to navigate an exam to reduce common test anxiety. I would love to have the opportunity to offer a student the desire to learn because struggling with a subject, especially Chemistry, and Physics can be frustrating. Through my own desire to learn I believe I can successfully pass on my enthusiasm and knowledge to another student!

Super Amazing Tutor!

Before I started tutoring sessions with Sadie, I was failing my college general chemistry course. I had failed 2 midterms with a 40%. I was totally lost in the class. After just a few lessons with Sadie, I not only passed my third midterm, but did really well, too! Sadie created an entire study plan with me and thoroughly explained each topic in a way that made sense to me. She knew exactly what I was struggling with and how to help. Sadie is really patient; we would stay on one topic for as long as I needed until I fully understood the content. I never once felt overwhelmed or rushed. Sadie was also very flexible and able to work around my full-time college student schedule, as well as a 6-hour time zone difference. Sadie is an excellent tutor, and I truly can’t say enough amazing things about her and the impact she had on my experience with Chemistry!

Techer Sadie taught me a of things about acids and bases. I love how she utilizes a digital whiteboard and how interactive and fun the lessons are. The best part about the lessons is that students can test their understanding of difficult concepts. :)
