Exceptional math teacher!

Both my sons have been working with Ephraim for three years. In this period, he has taught them prealgebra, algebra I and algebra II and geometry, counting and probability, and number theory. He also prepared my eldest son for the AMC 8 and 10 competitions with outstanding results. Ephraim can find gaps and works through topics well, rigorously explaining the analytics behind the mathematics and deriving /proving results along the way. This results in my sons having a deep understanding of mathematics. I highly recommend Ephraim.

Exceptional Math Tutor

My son first started working with Ephraim three years ago to help prepare him for the AMC 10. Since then, my son’s lessons with Ephraim have transitioned to Precalculus and the Math portion of the SATs. Ephraim has been instrumental in both my son’s love of math and his ability to master increasingly challenging math topics. Ephraim skillfully navigates being able to challenge my son, while also providing support in areas where my son needs extra help. He does all of this in a manner that keeps my son excited, engaged, and confident. I highly recommend Ephraim — we feel so fortunate that we found him!

Exceptional math tutor

It has been about a year since we have been studying math with Ephraim. Our primary focus is to go over Algebra and to prepare for math competitions including AMC and Mathcounts. He is very knowledgeable about how to prepare for the test and exceptional at identifying areas of weakness to explain things clearly. He always steps through any questions or areas of doubt before moving ahead. My son got a great outcome from the recent MAP test on math and he is confident that he is well prepared for upcoming math competitions. Not only from an academic perspective, Ephraim is exceptional at communicating with and motivating young adults. Ephraim has made the tutoring experience enjoyable and my son loves math even more than before. We highly recommend Ephraim to all students!

Extraordinary GMAT tutor

Ephraim is an extraordinary GMAT tutor. He’s the right tutor for the business school applicant who fits any of the following criteria: 1. Values their time and wants to approach the GMAT as efficiently as possible 2. Hasn’t done math since high school and needs to revisit the fundamentals 3. Is seeking a perfect score Ephraim breaks things down so that you understand WHY the answer is right. He’s been teaching math so long, and from so many different perspectives, that he knows the best/fastest way to teach any topic you throw at him. Plus, he’s super encouraging all the time and made relearning math for the GMAT a genuine pleasure. If for whatever reason I need to get good at math again, I’m calling up Ephraim.
