About Amy

I've been tutoring math for 10 years, and I find it very rewarding. I am patient and enthusiastic, and I have a deep understanding of the material I teach. I always strive to guide students to the answer using student-centered leading questions, rather than just lecturing.

If you know someone struggling with math, I can help make it fun and easy! I teach all levels of algebra, up through Calculus I and II, including geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, SAT prep, ACT prep, and more.

Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
