I’m a biology educator and science communication professional with experience teaching Honors Biology, AP Biology, and Marine Biology in both classroom and informal education settings. I graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Environmental Biology and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Relations & Communication at George Washington University. My background also includes public health, animal science, conservation education, and coaching, all of which have strengthened my ability to connect with students from a wide range of learning styles and academic backgrounds. I genuinely enjoy helping students take complicated scientific concepts and break them down into something approachable, manageable, and even enjoyable.
As a tutor, my goal is not only to improve grades and test performance, but also to help students build confidence in their abilities and develop skills that will support them long after a single assignment or exam. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing as learners. Whether a student needs help preparing for the AP Biology exam, strengthening foundational biology skills, improving study habits, or simply gaining confidence in science, I meet them where they are and work collaboratively to help them reach their full potential.
