Hello! I am a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Business Owner with over 25 years of experience. I love mentoring and teaching students en-route to the therapy professions and new graduates of therapy programs. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1996 and earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University in 1999.
I have over 25 years clinical experience working with children in multiple settings including home health, daycares, preschools, public school system, private practice and center-based programs. I am also a mom of 4 children and a local business owner for 18+ years. I am the owner of Achieve Pediatric Therapy, a pediatric private practice providing OT, PT, ST, ABA and Music Therapy services to children ages birth to 21 years.
While I'm new to online tutoring, I've been mentoring and teaching students who come through our practice for fieldwork education for years. I have expertise in child development, fine motor skills, sensory processing, autism spectrum disorders, business management, interviewing and hiring strategies.
