Hi, I’m Ebenezer, a pre-med college freshman studying Biomedical Science. I bring a strong academic background, having completed 13 AP classes, maintained a 5.3 GPA, and graduated in the top 10% of my high school class. I also have hands-on clinical experience as a medical assistant and scribe in a primary-care practice, which allows me to explain complex science concepts in a real-world context. I help students succeed in biology, chemistry, anatomy, and other sciences, and I also assist with AP exam prep, standardized tests, and college essays, providing guidance on structure, clarity, and authentic voice.
I have several years of tutoring experience with students ages 11–19, in both one-on-one and small-group settings. I have worked with peers in middle school, high school, and college-prep courses, particularly in AP science classes and research projects. My approach is tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I begin by identifying areas that need focus, then create lessons using practice problems, active discussion, and real-world examples. For essay coaching, I guide students through planning, drafting, and revising while maintaining the student’s unique voice.
I strive to make learning engaging and accessible, using techniques like concept mapping, guided problem-solving, and iterative feedback. I provide progress updates and optional practice exercises so learning continues outside of sessions. My students typically improve their understanding of challenging concepts, raise their grades, and gain confidence academically. I am dedicated, reliable, and committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
