Hello! I am a current university student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physics who hopes to give a new perspective on learning anything STEM. Recently graduating from high school cum laude with recognition as an AP Scholar with Honor, I have a fresh and successful mastery of the concepts and problems my students encounter. This recent experience allows me to relate to students’ challenges and demonstrate the effective learning techniques I personally use. I am very experienced with the core principles of math and physics, as well as the pacing of AP and other honors or college-level courses.

My approach to tutoring is focused mainly on understanding the concepts rather than short-term memorization. I can deconstruct intimidating formulas and abstract theories into their intuitive, foundational components using real-world applications to make concepts memorable. Personally, I have taught a younger sibling who is in elementary school, so I know how important it is to explain things step-by-step for young learners. I find it very important to make adjustments for students who need someone who can teach them in a way that doesn’t leave anything unexplained. I also believe that when a student understands why something is the way it is in a principle, their ability to solve other problems is dramatically increased. My main objective is to build confidence in students by creating a strong foundation of knowledge, while simultaneously fostering a genuine sense of curiosity and appreciation for the logic in science and mathematics.
