I am a legislative policy researcher at a Washington, D.C. based lobbying firm and am a recent graduate in political science & interdisciplinary social studies from Florida State University. During my undergraduate experience, I gained a wide variety of experiences engaging in the political process, including internships at the Florida House of Representatives, Leon County, FL's county budget office, a real estate law firm, and the lobbying firm I currently work at. These experiences shaped my passion for government operations and I'm eager to share my knowledge with students seeking to learn more and excel academically.
While in student government at FSU, I served as a peer mentor to rising student leaders and found joy in seeing my mentees succeed. I am passionate about seeing younger generations succeed and willing to put in the work to develop strategies to best tutor any student in U.S. government and politics courses. As a recent university graduate, I am best equipped to work with my students to understand their preferred methods of learning and apply techniques that may be the most effective.
