I’m a certified K–6 educator with over 13 years of experience teaching in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Reading and ESOL from the University of Central Florida and have pursued graduate coursework in Educational Leadership.
In addition to my classroom teaching, I’ve provided online and in-person tutoring for elementary students, focusing on reading, writing, and foundational literacy skills. I’ve worked with students in grades 1–6, including those performing below grade level, and I specialize in helping struggling readers gain confidence through phonics-based instruction, guided reading, and comprehension strategies.
My tutoring sessions are student-centered, interactive, and tailored to each learner’s needs. I use research-based strategies including guided reading, phonics instruction, scaffolded writing support, and comprehension activities. I believe in building a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident to take risks and grow academically.
I incorporate visual aids, games, and discussion-based learning to keep sessions engaging and effective. Whether your child needs help catching up or enrichment to move ahead, I adapt my approach to meet them where they are.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson. I look forward to supporting your child’s learning journey!
