Hi there! I'm Tracie, and I recently graduated from United Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry in 2024. I received my Master of Divinity in 2017 from Meadville Lombard Theological School. After nine years in ministry, I decided to pivot toward academia. I currently work as a writing tutor at a local college and have tutored middle and high school students online for the last year. I enjoy working with students to help them excel in writing assignments. I also help with editing and proofreading, specializing in longer-form papers such as dissertations. I'm especially skilled in Chicago-style citations and can assist with MLA formatting.
As someone who has ADHD, I understand how difficult it can be to get scattered thoughts down on paper. I have experience working with neurodivergent students in grammar, reading comprehension, and writing. I also work with students who need help with study skills and how to organize research.
I also teach crochet (and can do so here on the virtual platform or in person). I am a published crochet designer and have taught crochet for nearly 20 years. I can teach you from scratch, or if you already crochet and want to try new things, I can also assist with that.
I look forward to discussing how I can help you succeed. I am quick to respond (usually within 24 hours) and will work collaboratively with you to tailor your lessons to fill your needs. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
