I am a self taught photographer with 25 years experience shooting portraits, fashion, landscapes, architecture, weddings and events. I started my photography career in Chicago, filled with world renowned architecture and offering amazing opportunities as a freelance photographer. I also enjoyed working with people in a portrait studio in beautiful downtown Chicago. Along the way, my clients asked for advice and lessons. My interest wasn't originally teaching, but after working with a few people, I found I truly enjoyed sharing my knowledge and passion. People I work with frequently offer feedback that I am good at explaining the content in a simple way and they leave with a clear understanding of the skills they need. I've been teaching classes for over 6 years now.
I especially like working with beginners of any age to make sure they start with a solid foundation and aren't misguided by bad information, but I welcome more advanced students as well. I am also available for lessons on editing in Lightroom and Photoshop.
