Hello! My name is Bhagyesh J. and I am a Lake Nona High School senior. I am currently dual enrolled with Valencia College and the University of Florida and am on track to graduate with my AA General Studies degree this spring semester. I am specifically experienced in Computer Science, specifically Java, as I have taken courses like AP Computer Science A and Advanced Java. I am also the Java Lead for the Computer Science Honor Society at my school, where I have held workshops and conducted tutoring sessions on computer science topics for my club and school. I also specialize in tutoring math as I tutor often with my math club in my high school, Mu Alpha Theta. Here I have participated in various math competitions and helped my school get 8th place in the state overall.
I am very excited to tutor any students who need help, as I will try my best to get them a comprehensive understanding of the topic. I understand the importance of knowing the "Why" rather than just memorizing information for the sake of it. Growing up as a student myself I many times thought that I just needed to "know" the content and not its applications or reasoning behind it. However, as someone who has gone through 12 years of the school system, I can stress this importance.
