The structure and pacing of how STEM is taught in college requires students to "learn how to learn". I am passionate about helping students understand these concepts that may seem challenging at first, and teaching them how to become better learners
Most of my tutoring experience is 1-on-1 with AP and college students, but I have worked with students as young as middle school age up through retirees going back to college. I have received formal training in teaching methods and have years of experience in a management / training role.
My favorite thing about tutoring is seeing students who thought they'd "never get it" grow a new confidence in themselves. I work with students on time management and make sure to identify and target weak points.
