It is a pleasure to introduce myself. As a current adjunct college instructor, I am flexible and have a great understanding of what you need for present and future academic success. I teach American, History from Discovery through present day, Florida History, and African American History. I currently teach American History and First Year Experience courses for the junior college level at Florida State College at Jacksonville. I have also functioned in a variety of administrative, ministry, and business positions. Professional development and continuous learning are what bring joy to me and keep me up to date on the latest practices of research and teaching. My latest certification is in higher ed. learning from the Bok Center at Harvard.
Thirteen years were spent in full-time classrooms from 4th grade, through middle and high school, along with tutoring both younger & older students working on a college degree. I love bringing joy to learners and look forward to exploring opportunities with your students. I am sure to bring vision, energy, acute accuracy, and care.
