Hi! I was a Teacher and Principal for 10 years in total. My teaching career began when I worked in Michigan from 1998-2004 as a Grades K-5 Special Education Teacher; and in California from 2004 until 2008 as a Grades 9-12 Special Education Teacher and Teacher Specialist. I was also a Principal of a Junior High School in California for their Summer School Program. I was a Tutor for many subjects during those years. I tutored Math, English/Grammar, Science, Chess, and Test Prep. I greatly enjoy teaching, tutoring and anything associated with Education. I would love to work with you!

I enjoy tutoring Math because I myself personally enjoy Math a great deal. Comprehending numbers and patterns associated with those numbers is quite enjoyable for me, and it makes me happy to help students achieve their Math goals. I try to be a dynamic and patient teacher, and I try to find many alternative ways to help students understand Math.

I scored very highly on my English ACT test. Having always had a great grasp of Grammar and the English language, I really enjoy helping students comprehend the complexities of the English language. English, Grammar, and Proofreading are structured subjects, and I very much enjoy structure and organization in my life in general. Working with students on these topics is very rewarding for me, and I have a great deal of tutoring.

I have always enjoyed working with students, and it makes me very happy when I see the light bulb go in a student’s eyes when they grasp a particular subject or topic. I am also a very patient person, and I enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals. It makes me profoundly happy to help students achieve their goals.
