I have been teaching English and Spanish since 1993, working with children, teenagers, college students, and adults at different proficiency levels. Throughout my career, I have also served as director of several educational institutions and language programs, with experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, teacher supervision, and student progress.
I hold a Preply Language Teaching Certificate from Preply Tutors Academy, where I completed and passed the “How to Teach a Language” methodology course. Earlier in my career in Colombia, I founded and directed New Country English Institute, an educational institution whose language program was formally approved by the local Secretary of Education.
My teaching approach is structured, practical, and highly personalized. I help students understand how a language works instead of simply memorizing rules. Depending on each student’s goals, lessons may include grammar, conversation, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, and real-life communication. I work with beginners through advanced learners, always focusing on confidence, clarity, consistency, and measurable progress.
I am also a professional singer-songwriter, music producer, recording and mixing specialist, and vocal professional. I teach music production, guitar, general music, songwriting, and related creative subjects from both a technical and practical perspective.
Whether a student is learning a language or developing musical skills, my goal is to provide clear instruction, practical tools, and a professional learning experience that produces real results.
