I’ve been a web designer since 2007, beginning the day I was asked to update a company website with no training. The moment I opened the files and started editing, I knew I had found the work that made sense to me. Since then I’ve built many WordPress sites, taught digital skills to middle school students, and helped adults and coworkers understand everything from basic computer use to layout and styling. I learned the industry through real projects, constant practice and hands-on problem solving, including nine years working with small businesses, and eight years at a marketing agency working with larger national accounts.
My tutoring style is patient, calm and very beginner friendly. I explain things in simple, practical terms and I adjust to the student rather than forcing a rigid structure. I’ve taught adults, business owners and complete beginners who have never logged into WordPress before. I specialize in WordPress, Bootstrap, Divi, beginner level Elementor, HTML and CSS fundamentals, Google Business Profile setup and simple SEO using the free version of Yoast. My goal is to help you feel comfortable with the tools you use and understand why things work the way they do.
