I homeschooled my three children and tested every year with IOWA Test. For K-5, we used Abeka ELA program. We used Institute for Excellence in Writing in Middle/High School. We used Abeka Math K-5, then Saxon Math, and switched to Teaching Textbooks through Precalculus. We used a local co-op for History, art, music, and gymnastics. The IOWA Test revealed a reading comprehension issue in my youngest in Grade 5. We used a Reading Comprehension Grade 5 workbook by Scholastic and my son's reading comprehension improved.

Great Tutor!

My 7th grade daughter really enjoyed her first tutoring session with Karen. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. My daughter said she explained things in a way that was very easy to understand. Prior to the session, Karen asked for a pdf of what my daughter needed help with to upload to the whiteboard app - which was a big help - especially with geometry. After the session, Karen went above and beyond by emailing extra practice sheets. We were hoping to find a new a math tutor to meet with a regular basis and got very lucky finding Karen. We plan to continue using her on an ongoing basis. So pleased!!

Best tutor!

My kids love their time with Karen. She really gets to know them and where they are academically and also provides great notes on how each session went, as well as extra work to have on hand between sessions if helpful.
