In addition to being a long time piano teacher, I have been a performer for over 30 years. This experience allows me to help my students with what it takes to become confident piano players. Also, my experience has shown that each student has unique needs when it comes to a positive and effective learning enviorment.
I focus on having my students know that learning to play the piano and being musical is a natural process. I help my students to gradually become more and more independent learners. With my positive teaching, my students become able to recognize patterns and chord progressions that enables them to learn to play their favorite music on the piano.
