ADHD and Dyslexia Trained STEM and Executive Function Tutor

ADHD

I am a teacher and have training in working with students with ADD/ADHD. During college, this is a topic I choose to heavily research and write a huge paper on. Outside of this, I have worked with a student with ADD/ADHD one on one and helped her greatly improved her grades in school. In the classroom, I have developed and used many strategies that have reached ADD/ADHD students.

Algebra 1

I have tutored and work with all grades and majority of subjects with my licensure. Certified K-12 and really enjoy algebra 1.

Algebra 2

I excelled in college through calc one, and I have lots of experience tutoring math.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

I am going into my 6th year of teaching and have worked with children on the spectrum. I also am certified in K-12 General Curriculum Exceptional Children's teacher by the state of North Carolina. I do really well in engaging with more challenging students and love meeting them where they are at.

Bible Studies

I taught Sunday school for years and am a devout Christian. I actively work to study the Bible and be an active reader.

Biology

Certified in biology and chemistry.

Dyslexia

I am a licensed Exceptional Children Teacher in the state of North Carolina with training on working with students with disabilities. I know tools that can help students navigate their dyslexia and even help with accommodations for IEP and 504s. Personally I have mild dyslexia and understand how challenging it can be.

Elementary (K-6th)

I am certified in K-12 grade in exceptional children by the state of North Carolina. I have worked with children of a variety of ages with there reading, math, science, and much more. I love trying to encourage young learners to believe in there self and love school.

Elementary Math

I have experience tutoring in math. And I excelled in math through calc one, Florida certified teacher.

Elementary Science

I am a certified and teaching science teacher in the state of Florida. I currently teach earth space science, but am qualified to teacher physical science, chemistry, and biology as well.

GED

I am certified in education, AB average through calc 1. I am currently working as a math tutor

Homeschool

I am a certified teacher in the state of Florida. Since home school can be a wide range here is a break down of different subjects. Although I am only 6-12 certified I am comfortable to work with all levels. Reading/ELA- I currently tutor consistently students and have trained in the college of education how to push students toward success. This includes comprehension, vocab, and grammar. Math- This is my second to favorite subject. In college I did exceedingly well through Calc 1. I also on a regular basis work with math students in all levels. Science- This is my certification area in biology in chemistry. I have worked with students in all levels on this subject. I am comfortable with working with students taking AP science classes online as well. Social Studies- I have worked with students individually in the past on projects, studying for large history tests, and essays coming up. Social Studies is an area I enjoy most intertwining in all subject areas.

I excelled in courses in college and am certified to teach chemistry, which covers the physical science area.

I am a certified teacher in the state of Florida. I also am currently working with a middle school and high school student on study skills. And had training on this is the past during college.
