About Gordon

Bio

I can help you succeed at Chemistry, Physics and math courses, including Precalculus and Calculus. I've taught and coached a variety of students in these subjects for five years and helped them succeed. Helping struggling students understand a difficult topic is so fun! After engineering, I practiced medicine (Anesthesiology) for decades and now I just enjoy helping students get a good start toward their careers.

I can help you succeed at Chemistry, Physics and math courses, including Precalculus and Calculus. I've taught and coached a variety of students in these subjects for five years and helped them succeed. Helping struggling students understand a difficult topic is so fun! After engineering, I practiced medicine (Anesthesiology) for decades and now I just enjoy helping students get a good start toward their careers.

I have taken students with little to no previous Chemistry, Physics or Calculus courses and in one school year helped them pass the AP exams with great scores! I can help YOU as well, just as I helped them. I actually wrote a high school chemistry laboratory text which is sold on Amazon! My students enjoy my courses and end up very grateful for their experiences. I have written and graded a slew of tests in all these subjects, so I've seen all kinds of problems students have, and helped them conquer and win!

Tech to get my Bachelors in EE then off to Master's in EE, then switched into Medicine -- and taught high school calculus part time one year and after retirement, taught it formally as AP Calculus BC -- student did WELL! Calculus can get you to THINK in new and interesting ways about change all around you!
