Mentoring adults, young adults, seasoned professionals, new employees - anyone in need of reaching their potential. As a youth coach for baseball, basketball, tennis and soccer, I have helped numerous young men and women grow with their skills and potentials. Having tutored youth in reading and math, having been certified as an ESL instructor, and having taught my grandchildren and my own children in virtually every subject from first grade through college, it was always my desire to see a person reach their potential and achieve their dreams. Support and reassurance: these are the keys to success. The talent always lies within. There are simply times you have to help with unlocking that door within a person’s being that allows them to be who they are capable of being.
Math and numbers. These are the basis for most everything today from a scientific perspective. My background is strongly quantitative, having spent decades in business with engineering, mathematics, statistics, business and accounting. Learning mathematics is fun and the road to success is finding the way towards that answer that is always there and never changes. Most vocations have many answers and perspectives. Mathematics is finite and fun.
My English and Creative Writing background goes back to the meanest and hardest teacher a person could have in the 11th and 12th grade. It is that teacher who later became my lifelong friend. But it is that teacher who set me up in life to be a person who lives and embraces and thoroughly enjoys the English language. Sometimes you never realize the gift of teaching that lies before you. For that, I was truly blessed. Conquering English writing and vocabulary are skills for a lifetime of learning.
