I am Windy from Hawaii and have 25 years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and a post graduate Professional Diploma in Education. I love math and enjoy helping students to be successful in math skills but most importantly in learning how to learn. I have taught at the elementary to high school levels for over 25 years, with most of my years in middle school math.
I have taught in the classroom for most of my career, but I have especially enjoyed working one on one with students in tutoring situations. I find it the most effective way to give immediate feedback and to monitor progress which leads to success in mathematics. I look forward to working with more students and helping them to achieve their goals.

I clearly understand the topics and have many years of experience breaking down the skills and teaching the students how to communicate their process of solving problems. In the last several years I have worked one on one with students in grade 2, 6th grade math, and Algebra 1. I also worked a semester with a high school graduate focusing on SAT preparation with the focus on Mathematics. Currently I work daily with two sisters at the 3rd grade and 6/7th grade levels, as well as teach Algebra 1 and Comprehensive Science at a private school associated with a tennis academy in Florida where I also coach tennis.
