Realizing that I preferred to work with people after earning my degree in chemistry, I rejected engineering jobs and become a teacher. The reward of having students thank me over the years have made me realize that I had made a great career choice. There is no better reward than feeling that 'I have touched the future'. I love to teach and tutoring is very special because of the one on one relationship. When people tell me that chemistry is difficult, I tell them that they probably have a poor teacher. Chemistry is fascinating and helps young people to understand the world around them.
Over the years I have taught all levels of chemistry including Advanced Placement Chemistry. I worked as a consultant setting up Advanced Placement Chemistry programs in public high schools for years. I have had the benefit of tutoring and getting to know young people who have gone on to become scientists and medical professionals.
Recently, I had the honor of setting up a brand new Science Department in a small private school here in Naples. I then chaired the department for 13 years.

I was a 'Dean's List' chemistry major at Salem State University. After a few years teaching, I then went on to get a Masters degree at Cambridge College. I have years of experience and therefore know how to simplify the concepts for my students, and love working with people.

Tennis is my second greatest passion. I have been a Tennis Coach for about 25 years. I have coached High School tennis teams and have given private lessons.
