I’m certified dental assisting instructor and tutor for general chemistry, math (algebra, trig, calc I, stats), and general biology. I’ve spent the last several months tutoring fellow students at Florida Southwestern State College, where I completed my Associate’s degree in General Studies on the pre dental path. My teaching style is aimed at building comprehension rather than relying on brute memorization, especially for students ages 16–26 who are navigating challenging STEM and dental related courses.
I am partial to active learning techniques—such as practice problems, rephrasing, flashcards, and exam corrections—to help students strengthen weak points and build lasting confidence in problem-solving. I believe learning is also a skill that can be improved, and I work closely with each student to develop strategies that support long-term academic success.
In addition to academic tutoring, I'm an adjunct instructor at LWTC, where I also support students preparing for the DANB national board exams (Infection Control, Radiology Health & Safety, and General Chairside). I hold certifications in expanded functions, radiography, nitrous oxide monitoring, and more, and I also assist with resume writing, interview prep, and clinical placements to help students transition into the workforce.
