I hold a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and Actuarial Sciences and a Master's degree in Statistics. I am also a certified teacher in the State of Florida, currently teaching high school mathematics in Collier County. In addition to my classroom teaching, I am responsible for preparing students for standardized exams such as the SAT, ACT, CLT, and the Florida state assessments. My academic background in quantitative disciplines allows me to explain mathematical concepts with clarity and depth, while my professional experience has strengthened my ability to connect with diverse learners and adapt to their needs.

I have over a year of formal teaching experience at the high school level, working with students across a range of abilities. I use differentiated instruction, scaffolded explanations, and active learning strategies to promote student engagement and retention. In the classroom, I often incorporate technology such as Desmos, GeoGebra, and interactive digital tools to make abstract concepts more tangible. My tutoring experience has included both small-group and one-on-one settings, often outside of regular school hours, and has focused on supporting struggling students or helping advanced students achieve higher scores.

As a bilingual educator, I am also able to support English Language Learners, drawing from my training in ESOL and Reading strategies. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in mathematics and develop problem-solving skills that they can carry into other areas of life. I believe that patience, encouragement, and a personalized approach are key to unlocking student potential.
