I was the president in high school of my FFA club which meant I had a lot of public speaking to do. I enjoyed it so much I also competed in many public speaking contests. This love and study of the art continued with me into my first few years of college and I have even continued it into conventions for my previous employer.
I have worked with children on the spectrum for the past five years. I taught at a school specifically designed for children with autism. I have worked with children from the ages of 7 to 22 and at all ends of the spectrum. ASD children light up my life and I love helping children to better themselves.
I love to teach history and one of the beautiful things about history is that it is black and white there are no gray and abstract areas with it. I find that this helps children to grasp the material better and for it to be one of the more rewarding subjects.
Education and learning should be fun and stress free. I know that in many cases it tends to be the opposite. Let me help you let go of the stress and begin to fully grasp the material you are studying.
