Hi! I'm Jordan, a Stanford University graduate with a degree in Human Biology (specializing in Neurobiology and Development) and a minor in Education. I also earned a perfect ACT score, and I absolutely love helping students build confidence and discover that learning can be exciting.
I've worked with students of many ages in one-on-one and educational settings, and one of my favorite things is helping concepts finally "click." Whether we're working on reading comprehension, writing, biology, study skills, test preparation, or general academic confidence, I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.
My approach goes beyond just getting the right answer. I want students to learn how to think critically, solve problems independently, and feel proud of their progress. I especially enjoy helping students become stronger readers and writers by teaching strategies that improve comprehension, analysis, organization, and communication.
As someone who loves science, I also have extensive experience with research, experimental design, scientific writing, and project development. I have competed successfully in science fairs at the local, state, national, and international levels, and I enjoy helping students develop their own scientific curiosity and confidence.
Above all, I genuinely care about my students and their goals. I'm patient, organized, enthusiastic, and committed to helping each student succeed. Whether your student needs support in a specific subject or wants to develop stronger study habits and academic skills, I'd love to work together.
Let's crush those goals together!
