I am a college professor, currently an adjunct prof of anthropology at the University of Miami. I graduated with a PHD from the University of Chicago in 2002 and have taught at the Univ of California, San Diego, Tulane University, and University of Miami. As a college professor in the social sciences, I have mentored many students and served as thesis chair and committee member. I have served as chair as well as committee member for honor's and master's theses for students in communication, American and Latin American studies, art history and anthropology, and coached my advisees through research design, data collection and organization, argument developing and, finally, the thesis. My students have gone on to become journalists, academics, business people, artists, and art curators around the United States and beyond. In a private capacity, I have worked on content editing for thesis-writing students for 20 years.
