I graduated Cornell University with a B.S. in Human Development. I taught English abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for six months. I graduated UVA Law with a J.D. and briefly worked as a lawyer but knew teaching was my calling. I left law to teach in NYC Public Charter schools for 5 years. Students have made great academic gains with my help, and above, have grown in confidence, which classroom teachers have reported to me time and time again. I connect with all kids and motivate them with my infectious energy, optimism, and goal-oriented nature.
