Hi! I´m Tina. I have been an elementary teacher for the past 8 years. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in English Language Arts Education. I have a masters in Teacher Leadership from the University of Central Florida and a masters in School Supervision from Western Carolina University. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade students, all subject areas, including Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies. I have taught in the US, Thailand, Colombia, and now I am back in Miami. I have experience teaching students, whose second language is English. I have taught English to people of all ages, from 2 years old to adults. I have also taught Spanish. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and lived in Colombia for 4 years. I am certified to teach elementary K-6 and Spanish K-12.
In my classes, the most important thing is that students learn and feel good doing it! I provide a "can do" atmosphere, patiently explaining to my students as many times as needed. I vary in activities, so students do not get bored, and make sure to thoroughly explain the content, with time for practice as well.

I have been teaching elementary for 8 years.

I am a native Spanish and English speaker. I am certified to teach Spanish grades K-12. I was born in Venezuela and lived there for 7 years. Recently, I lived in Colombia for four years.

I spent 6 years working as an English teacher in international schools in Thailand and Colombia. I have given English classes to kids and adults.

I have been an elementary teacher for the past 8 years. Teaching my students study skills is a big part of my job!
