Since joining Wyzant in 2011, I’ve provided over 2,200 hours of tutoring and college advising, placing me in the top one percent of all tutors on the platform. I bring over 20 years of experience, a Master’s in Education, and a wide breadth of knowledge across subjects and grade levels.

I specialize in working with students who have learning differences and take pride in quickly building rapport to tailor sessions to each student’s needs. I encourage students to engage actively in their learning and aim to make lessons meaningful, confidence-building, and skill-focused.

My experience includes teaching in top private schools, collaborating with instructional teams, and working with international families and homeschooled students. I also support a select number of students through the college application process each year.

If you're looking for an experienced, compassionate educator who understands how schools work and how students learn, I’d love to help.

Parents: Children in 5th grade and under should spend between 60 minutes to 120 minutes with screen time daily. It is my recommendation that online sessions with tutors should not go for longer than 30 minutes per session for grades K-2.

Very knowledgable and professional

Christopher really related to and motivated both of my children. They are excited to get to work with him. He taught me a quick game to play with the kids this week with variations to help them visualize words and remember them. This will increase there reading fluency in the weeks to come. We are all excited to work with him in the weeks to come!

Great tutor for kids with dyslexia

Chris tutored our son in Reading and we have seen great improvement in a few months. FL public schools do not recognize or test for dyslexia or train their teachers to teach reading using O-G methods. They use generalized phonics instruction and sight word memorization which, at least in our case, are not effective. I've learned so much from Chris about how to work with my son and the reasons why traditional teaching techniques will never be effective for him. I recommend Chris highly!

UF here I come !!!!

Christopher helped me write a really good essay for my college application and I'm so happy I hired him to tutor me because without him my essay would've been awful. He taught super well and I learned so many things about writing essays! Definitely recommend him!!!

Helpful tutor.

Christopher helped my son with lessons he is working on. He also spends time getting to know and understand what he is interested in and options that might be available to further his goals. Christopher looks for the positive in my son and makes the best use of what he knows.

Miracle Worker

Chris tutors my 6th grader in both math and reading and does an amazing job. My son has ADHD and LD and was very vocal about NOT wanting to see a tutor. Now he actually enjoys it, and has since the beginning. Chris knows how to connect with kids and explains concepts very well.

Knowledgeable and helpful tutor !

Christopher is the type of tutor who is prepared before the session and willing to help you with every problem. I have only had one session so far. But so far, the one thing I already like is that he is attentive to his phone outside of tutoring hours and is willing to answer any questions! Highly recommended.

Connected, Invested, Warm and Professional

Christopher is helping my son navigate the SSAT test for admission to middle school. In one hour he summed him up, found his strengths and weaknesses and developed a game plan going forward to get him comfortable with the test and meet his goals. We were so impressed with Christopher that we are glad to have him in our arsenal for future needs as he makes the transition from elementary to middle.
