Nothing makes time fly like a good story, or sells you on an idea like a well-crafted argument. I'm here to help you make your writing more persuasive, convincing, entertaining, and effective. No matter your writing or reading goals, I'm confident that I can help you accomplish them! I'm a Rice University graduate with a B.A. in English, and I was selected as a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, a competitive national research fellowship for humanities scholars capable of rigorous close reading, writing, and literary analysis. I've tutored high school students in grades 9 through 12 and college students, working in AP English Language and AP English Literature & Composition, SAT and ACT prep, and university seminars where I help with essay development and proofreading.

From my original screenplays and poetry to my senior thesis in English literature and Legal theory, I've cultivated the skills needed to help you embrace the beauty and mechanics of writing!

I've found that genuine connection is what makes tutoring work. I spend time getting to know you and become invested in all your goals; the unique ways that you think and operate are special and the center of how tailor our lessons.

I've also been an academic and social adjustment mentor to students at Rice, guiding them through university transitions and with academic advising. My commitment to mentorship was recognized at Rice through a Student Artist Award and an Outstanding Senior Award, and I try to instill in my students the same qualities that earned me that recognition: curiosity, discipline, and open-mindedness.
