I am a transfer student at Vanderbilt University studying Political Science with a strong interest in Economics. Before transferring, I attended the University of Miami, where I earned a 3.97 GPA while completing a rigorous course load that included Calculus, Economics, Political Science, and writing-intensive courses. In high school, I earned a 5 on the AP French Language & Culture exam, a 4 on the AP U.S. History exam, and a 4 on the AP Statistics exam. I am half French, and before high school I attended a French-American school, where I became fully fluent in both English and French. This bilingual background allows me to confidently tutor students in both languages.
Throughout high school and college, I have helped classmates and younger students understand difficult concepts, prepare for quizzes and exams, and build confidence in subjects including math, history, economics, and French. I also served as a mentor to younger students, providing academic support as they developed effective study habits. I enjoy working one-on-one because it allows me to adapt my teaching style to each student's learning needs. Rather than simply giving answers, I focus on explaining concepts clearly, breaking complex topics into manageable steps, and helping students develop the confidence and critical thinking skills to solve problems independently.
I am from Westchester, New York, and genuinely enjoy helping students reach their academic goals. I understand that every student learns differently, so I strive to create a patient, encouraging, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Whether a student is preparing for an exam, improving their grades, or mastering a new subject, my goal is to help them build confidence, strengthen their academic skills, and become more independent learners.
