Hi! My name is Gabriella, and I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Florida International University. Throughout college, I discovered that one of my favorite parts of learning was helping others understand difficult concepts. As a Biology Teaching Assistant, I worked with students to build confidence in biology by explaining complex topics in a way that was easy to understand and remember.
In addition to teaching, I've gained valuable real-world healthcare experience working as both a Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe. These roles strengthened my knowledge of biology, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and critical thinking while teaching me the importance of patience, communication, and attention to detail. I also have several years of experience working with children as a nanny, which has helped me create a supportive and encouraging learning environment for students of all ages.
My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also feel more confident in their abilities. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to match the student's learning style. Whether you're preparing for an exam, struggling with homework, or trying to better understand biology or science, I'll work alongside you to make learning less stressful and more enjoyable.
I believe asking questions is one of the best ways to learn, and I strive to create a comfortable space where students feel confident speaking up and making mistakes. My hope is that every student leaves each lesson feeling more knowledgeable, motivated, and capable than when they started.
I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals!
