With over twenty years working on college campuses, including twice serving as a Dean of Students, my qualifications for academic coaching and executive function training are rooted in deep institutional expertise. I hold an extensive background in higher education administration, which provides me with a rare, comprehensive understanding of the university ecosystem from the inside out. Throughout my career, I have worked one-on-one with thousands of young adults, helping them navigate all things both inside and outside the classroom. My work has consistently focused on guiding students through the pivotal transition into campus life, teaching them how to effectively self-advocate with professors, tackling time management, organization, task initiation, and successfully resolving student conduct or judicial challenges.
My approach to coaching is holistic and highly individualized, moving beyond traditional tutoring to focus on foundational habit-building and behavioral strategy. There's nothing I have not seen with this age group and in this space. Additionally, I integrate comprehensive career development into my sessions, equipping upperclassmen with practical tools for internship searches, targeted professional networking strategies, and practice interviewing. Whether working with a freshman struggling to adapt to college-level autonomy or a senior preparing for the job market, my coaching emphasizes building habits that will help now and for decades to come.
