Hi! My name is Tristan and I've been a professional tutor in STEM for about 4 years now. I specialize in General and Organic chemistry, algebra 1 and 2, and calculus. I received my associate's degree from Miami Dade College with summa cum laude and am now pursuing my Bachelor's degree of science in Chemistry from the University of Florida.

With my previous students, I've taught a broad spectrum from 8th graders to juniors in college and I tend to use analogies to try and break down concepts to their simplest elements for my students to digest. I have only ever taught one-on-one both as a private tutor and volunteer as I believe that you cannot get the same depth of learning in a group as you can with the undivided attention of an individual who knows what they're doing.

Something important to note is that I used to struggle immensely in STEM, and I understand what it's like to have sleepless nights over content that seems completely incomprehensible, and I think that this makes it easier for me and my students to connect and relate to each other. I am not an omnipotent omniscient god of knowledge, but I am an excellent tutor and researcher that knows what they're doing and can help others to achieve the same.
